Using your OwnFone couldn’t be simpler.

It’s delivered to you ready-to-use straight out of the box. There’s no manual to read or set up to do. Just take it out of the box, turn your OwnFone on and press the person you want to speak to – that’s it!

How to make a call

Press the On/Off button until you hear the welcome tone.

Wait for the
green signal light to flash.

Press a Name button to make
a call.

To hang up press the End Call button.

It’s that simple!

Receive a call

Your OwnFone will ring and vibrate. To answer just press
the Answer button.

 

Recharging

The OwnFone is rechargeable using the included USB cable and desktop charging stand. The charge will last about 5 days.

 

Call Emergency Services

Every Ownfone features an emergency '000' button. A long press of this button is required to call emergency services. As with other mobile phones the OwnFone must be charged and requires a network signal to make and receive calls.

* If the blue light continues to flash quickly there is a low network signal. If there is a solid blue light there is no network signal. Move to an area where there is network signal and wait for the blue light to flash slowly before making the call.
